What is Gold Vermeil ? It is heavily gold plated silver. with a minimum of 2.5 microns. My gold vermeil is sterling silver with 3 microns of 24ct gold plating. It lasts substantially longer than normal plate and as silver is the metal below theres not crappy base metal beneath the gold.
The story behind the Greenaway Collection:
There is a little Cornish bay situated at the mouth of the Camel Estuary, between Daymer Bay and Polzeath: Greenaway. It is my childhood beach, where we spent hours in the hazy summers having impromptu BBQs with friends or wrapped up warm in the winter, walking and enjoying its delights. I still visit regularly, and in the opinion of this Cornish girl, you will never find pebbles the shapes and varieties of the ones you find there. I’ve never found a pebble that makes my soul smile like the magic of a Greenaway pebble.
