This exquisite Cornish cowrie shell pendant has been gently guided to the shore by the tempestuous Atlantic ocean. Cast in solid sterling silver and elegantly suspended on an 18” silver belcher chain. The perfect way to always carry a little piece of Cornwall with you.

This shell is the shell most associated with Greenaway beach. The shape of the cowrie is most distinctive and when selecting which one I should use I choose this one because it has many recognisable characteristics of the shell. Collected from Greenaway beach by myself, specifically for this collection this cowrie will hold so many memories. The shell is about 10 x 8 mm and hangs form a 18" delicate silver belcher chain.

The Story Behind the Greenaway Collection

We are all guilty of leaving the beach with treasured finds in our pockets, pebbles, shell, glass and various bits of flotsam and jetsam. My story with Greenaway beach starts from being a young girl in the 80’s, romantic memories of bbqs late into the balmy evenings with family and friends, blustery boxing day walks and getting into cold seas. Fast forwarding to being a mother myself, enjoying being with my children collecting such wonderful treasures and searching for hours for the elusive Cowrie shells that are so synonymous with Greenaway. Now, my children are grown, I still love being there with my little dog Roy, roaming the shore for the next treasures to add to the collection.

This collection is made up of a selection of pebbles, shells and other bits I have selected from Greenaway beach, Cornwall. Discreetly snuggled between Polzeath and Daymer bay.

Hi, I am Chloe, the person behind Chloe Michell Jewellery. I am a keen believer in spreading the love, treating ourselves and embracing kindness. It is a time to celebrate woman and hold us in each others support. As always, these beautiful pieces are individually made to order for you, so please allow 2 weeks for delivery. This also accommodates time for hallmarking where necessary. However, if you do need it sooner, please get in touch and I will try my hardest to meet your needs.

How should I care for my jewellery?

All of my jewellery is designed to be comfortable and practical, with everyday wear in mind. I want you to enjoy your investment and get the absolute most out of it! There will be some things to avoid, but more often than not you can just leave it all on and ENJOY IT!

Free postage on orders over £75. Your tailor-made order will arrive in a neutral, non-branded postal box, with eco-friendly packaging, a polishing cloth and an embossed Chloe Michell jewellery box.
